On behalf of the Organizing Institutions,
we are pleased to invite you to join us at the Tenth
International Conference of Science Editors, to be held
on August 27-30, 2000, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The IFSE-Rio Conference will bring together scientific editors
and specialists from all over the world to discuss the Scientific
Communication Today, especially with reference to the
processes, methods, and tools of publishing science, from the perspective
of both developed and developing countries.
We expect the Conference will provide analysis of the international
advances and challenges the scientific communication presently faces,
with a view to strengthening the communication of scientific knowledge
worldwide.
The Conference will take place at the Glória Hotel, one of the
most traditional and charming hotels of Rio de Janeiro.
